I've asked my grandfather if he had any needless wood to reuse. He said that my grand grandfather left some wood packed in paper in a barn. So there they are, I have to make something special from them. The point is I haven't ever met my grand grandfather, he died about 25 years ago and the wood is the only tangible thing he'd left me.

Plans of a notebook-in-bed table.
...or however it could be called, hah, I don't know English THAT much :)
My dad asked me if I made him rotating table so he could comfortably use his notebook in a bed.
Moreover, he promised to buy me a bandsaw if I did it, and of course I agreed, who wouldn't!
So here I am, I drew some projects and finally I made this project with some dimensions attached. It doesn't show everything, because I hit on some more ideas of making joints - attaching the top to the rest with some pins etc. There is an interesting point in the project, the table stands on office-chair legs so it can move on some wheels and even change it's height. I think it's a really useful idea (as long as you have any chair to get rid off, I have :).
The best is that I've almost finished making it. It's really easy to build and it's a great occasion to try your jointing skills.

I'm sure it has soul!
I managed to make a cabinet for Julia after she had told me that she needed something to store some little things. I think it's the ubiquitous problem almost everyone faces, where to keep all these needles, pins, tiny junk that, like electrons, don't like to stay in one place for more than 5 minutes.
The whole, let's say, frame is made of pine wood, then painted with walnut wood stain - looks just great. Firstly, I thought to make three drawers looking like the third one - traditionally, but I found some firewood at home and it turned out that it was walnut as well. I spent whole Sunday afternoon cutting as much as I can from the pieces of wood, but it was worth it. I managed to make drawer faces look like that to stress the beautiful structure and rusty colour of the wood.

It wouldn't be fair if I didn't put the link to the original project.
My first... My very first... My very first stool!
Ok, to be honest, I tried to build anything from the wood I'd bought a day before, I manged to make something practical and blue.
Here it is, a little smurfy coffee table built from some 5cm pine boards bought in Castorama. The main part of the whole project is cutting and gluing the top as it's (as you can see) round. The thickness of the boards didn't allow me to simply cut it all the way through using my router with a round-cut accesory. I had to do it partially trying to cut it as round as it was possible - an it is.
A little wobbly, a little bandy, but mine and I can honestly say I'm proud I made it. Sweet 'child o'mine' :)
Hello every.. Hi me!
I've decided to create the site to be able to describe the projects I made, am making and will make in the nearest future. I'll try to expand it and describe the projects as well and clearly as I can.
I hope you'll enjoy it.
